World Gym (PALM SPRINGS)

I like how the gym is decorated with huge mock-ups of old physique magazines. Any physique culturist would recognize most of the legendary bodybuilders gracing the covers.

On top of that, from the pentagon of monitors hanging from the center of the facility played dated footage of muscle men flexing and posing for the camera. This particular round of videos (produced by GMV Productions, according to the credits) appeared to be from the 70's. I thought it was very cool -- and motivating. And, blessedly, no fucking dance music BLARES from the speakers; instead it was a decent background decibel. 

The gym is expansive with plenty of lifting equipment, one side of the building dedicated to cardiovascular machines, aerobics studio, and evening a running track in the center of it all! The locker rooms ain't too shabby either. There is even a sauna back there.
