Don't believe the hype about Eco Europe

Across the pond we're lead to believe the EU is soooo ecologically progressive and conscientious of resources or others peoples' space. Bullocks!

While most citizens of European countries profess a queer inclination to drive ugly, matchbox motors and talk more (and ad nauseum) about carbon emissions, recycling, and organic foods they are not as frugal as the folks back in the States. For all the talk about an energy crisis, they leave doors and windows wide open despite the radiator being on and in spite of the cold air blowing in---or the sign on the door informing "Please keep door closed". Oh that's sensible!

And talk about chimney smokers! I don't know which of the lot is more carcinogenic but, wow, do those Spaniards smoke up a storm. Every other lisp is followed by a drag. Definitely not non-smoker-friendly company. As for being considerate of the environment? Ha! Fag butts, candy wrappers, dog crap, and beer cans land where they may.

Soooo laissez-faire.
